We like start-ups, which is why we each spent years building them. Before reconnecting at Burst, we worked closely together at Yelp, which we helped grow from 10-5000 teammates, with an IPO along the way. Now we work with start-ups in a different form. We are typically investors in the Seed or Series A rounds of software and service companies... primarily those with marketplace and SaaS business models. We prefer to join when the company is already demonstrating post-launch traction with a growing customer base and team.
