In 2015, a group of University of Minnesota Twin Cities students formed a group with the intent of providing students an active learning experience in Venture Capital and early-stage investing. Launched in 2018, Atland Ventures is a Venture Capital firm managed by University of Minnesota students. Counting on a diverse educational background, our students perform investment analysis and due diligence, make investment decisions, manage a portfolio and connect founders with the strong entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Twin Cities. In 2019, we successfully raised over $1,000,000 for Atland Fund I...Investors include; University of Minnesota Alumni, Entrepreneurs, and Midwest-Focused Angels.
