According to the Center for Venture Research, in 2016, only 26% of U.S. angel investors were women and only 5% were minorities (their terms–not ours). Pipeline Angels is changing the face of angel investing and creating capital for trans women, cis women, nonbinary, two-spirit, agender, and gender-nonconforming founders. Our members serve as the friends and family round for entrepreneurs who may not already have support at that critical stage. Since Pipeline Angels launched in April 2011, over 450 members have graduated from our angel investing program and have invested more than US$7M in 90+ companies via our pitch summit process.
