Our job is to help entrepreneurs attract A+ talent and build relationships with the most important people and companies in their industries. We believe innovation and entrepreneurship are the most powerful catalysts for positive change, from making healthier foods more affordable, to curing deadly diseases, to helping first responders save more lives. Our style of in-the-trenches venture capital doesn’t scale. We make fewer than ten new investments each year so we have time to roll up our sleeves with every team we back. When the Vikings landed on the beach, they burned their own boats — it was do or die. We take the same approach with companies — we invest early and stay for the long haul.
